Happy Easter!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter! We had a great day and I think that Shylee enjoyed her very first Easter. We went and visited Jason's grandma and then we went over to my parents for lunch. The Easter bunny was generous and brought Shylee her 5th tooth! She is growing up so fast! Here are some pictures of her enjoying her first Easter.

Not so lazy Sunday

We had a very eventful Sunday! We went to Village Inn for brunch as a family. This is only the third time we have taken Shylee out to a restaurant, but she did GREAT! She played, ate, and drank some juice. She really liked to play with and munch on the small containers of jam.

After we went to Village Inn, we decided to visit the Easter Bunny. Let's be honest, we were expecting Shylee to have a meltdown. She isn't sure of strangers, let alone giant hairy ones! To our surprise she did fantastic! She thought about crying for a quick second, but we were able to distract her long enough to get a good picture.
We were also able to enjoy some fun family time outside since it was such great weather. Shylee loves her bouncer and she loves being outside, so the two at the SAME TIME were great for her! This is her cheese ball smile. I love it!
After our wonderful day, Shylee went to grandma and grandpa's so that Jason and I could go out on a date. We didn't get a picture, but we went to The Cheesecake Factory. It was delicious and it was great to get some alone time.

I didn't get any chores done around the house this weekend, but it is TOTALLY worth it! There is nothing greater than spending time with the people you love. :)

Psychic

Today I went to a psychic. I know that there are a lot of sceptics (my husband included) and that is fine, but I thought it was an amazing experience! I wasn't even sure how I felt about it before I went, but I kept an open mind. The things she talked about were so deep and personal. It would be hard to just "guess" the stuff that we talked about. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is interested.
